Lately: Version 3 of CUsite released, complete with SEO integration

L9 has released "version three" of CUsite with multiple upgrades and improvements. The primary improvements focus on search engine optimization and page editing.

In previous versions of CUsite, search engine optimization was possible through manual editing, but was limited to global meta page descriptions and keywords. In the new version, the URL's of all website pages are completely based on the navigational path and page name. For example, if you clicked on "About Us" and then "Membership" you would see a URL similar to this... "http://www.cusite.com/about_us/membership/". This new URL structure is extremely "Google friendly" and allows search engines to display your site results so that users can easily understand what they are going to be clicking on.

"We spent a long time struggling with our own website results on Google and other search engines, and committed ourselves to finding ways to integrate search engine optimization into our CUsite system. We were not only motivated to provide a better SEO solution for our customers, but also for ourselves. We implemented the upgrade on our new site and within one month we were seeing the kind of results we tried to achieve for two years with the old site." stated Jason Powell, Design Director at L9.

The new SEO friendly version of CUsite also allows for page specific meta information editing and further formatting capabilities for calling out keywords throughout the content. These new capabilities come in the form of a completely new content editor that is easier to use, and also allows pasting of pre-formatted text, has resizeable editing windows, and continues to support all of the CUsite modular content inserts.
